@all

To my dear friends,

Back then we had a wonderful time together in college .I would call it a completely restricted freedom but still we did whatever we wished to do , went wherever we wanted to go . Yes ! we enjoyed recklessly. :).

1st year kept us busy knowing each other and strengthening our friendship. My group was called rajasthani group .  1st floor central wing had its own popularity. It cant be rated the best year of the four without the flavours like ragging , television ,  arun kumar ,C1 , N , B1 sections , labs , tifac core and a couple of protests .The list is endless :). Many came into spotlight after winning events in Daksh . Deepawali and Holi were celebrated the best . As the year ended each one of us had gotten into his own comfort zone. There were still a lot of ppl I was yet to meet in the coming days and it happened.

Then came the 2nd year . Inspite of the drastic difference in level of academics w.r.t the last year,  CS ruled everywhere. Clans ( pirates , scorpion , immortals etc), night long clan matches , snipers  , mavericks , kkk , suar , watson , shnabley , aerodynamic , jackal , hunt and what not. Each one dying hard to prove his supremacy :) I remember once I got a chance to play for a very high profile clan PIRATES. :). PV became the centre as majority of you were in pv and I feel bad about missing the new year eve celebrated there. Needless to say RLV meant a place abroad but of great importance to many of us. :P . Going to VV had its own charm . Canteen samosas at 11:10 , assembling outside vv , bursting with laughter and sighting senior girls :) Many of us tried ourselves in technical and cultural fest too . Met and made a lot of good friendship with those in new hostel , watching movies with them , going sathars , particularly cs-19.Fun apart basic electronics gave us all nightmares till the end-sem results came out. So passed another year .

3rd year was different . All of us scattered in various hostels . Less frequent meets .  Felt like enthusiasm had reduced a lot but still av used to be the centre of fun. CS was an all time favourite of many of you but DOTA too managed to get some space.  Needless to say academic stress was at its peak .Intense group studies during mid-sems and end-sems indicated this fact . Dosa and microcontroller gave nightmares to many . :P Somehow we managed to get through examz, thanks to PV-126 . Weekend classes were the real pain. Most of us kept ourselves engaged with daksh , carpe and ks . Then came a time of utter panic and frustration coz of heavy rainfall during the end-sem exams . Communication went into its all time lowest as Hostels got water locked and it screwed the local area network . :D With this ended the 3rd year.

4th and the most crucial year begun and  fortunately I ended up in av . Found things were not like before . Each one busy in their own world . Interest in cultural and technical events went down  . Some were busy preparing for GATE , some for CAT , a few for GRE and others busy deciding what they must pursue . Carrom-board , volley-ball , gym and cricket got craze during the last sem. Must mention college wi-fi facility was exploited till the hell broke loose.  . Birthday celebrations were the best time to assemble and enjoy  and ofcourse AV-203 was a favourite place to hang out. Combined study in new hostel for the last sem exams did good to each of us I guess. ;) Together we marched from pre placement training to interviews . From projects to end-sems we went. To the end of an era we reached.

Memories apart ....
Lately I realized our group comprised of poets , script writers , dancers , guitarists , gamers , cricketers , actors , techies , downloaders, leaders , speakers ,dj's , dons (with range) , dealers  and yes ofcourse engineers... You name it , my group has it all!!!.. :):)

All long these four years I learnt a lot of things from you which definitely helped me become a better person . There is one thing I found common in all of you and that's your self belief...
 A song strikes my mind...
" khud pe bharosaa hai khud pe yakeen hai ...
  kar lenge kaam chahe jitna sangeen hai.."
and hence today we all are successfully employed . :)
I drew immense self belief and confidence everytime you conveyed this message to me by your words or actions.
I specially want to thank all of you for this particular change you brought in me .
Now when all of you are well into the corporate world coping up fast with the varied new technologies you encounter , be it as a trainee , as a project team member or in a non IT job , just coz of the two sentences, I very well know you all will survive , I wish all of you excel and I want that you all rule in your respective fields :)
Aamin!!!
